Pentagon can’t account for Iraq reconstruction funds http://www.presstv.ir/detail/164158.html
A new report by Kurdish lawmakers has found the Pentagon cannot account for how it is spending $9.1 billion in Iraq war reconstruction funds for 2011. The US Defense Department has also refused to send representatives to Iraq's Supreme Audit Court. Kurdish lawmaker Nariman Abdulla said: "The Pentagon must take immediate steps to address this issue,” adding: “If such a huge amount is not accounted for, then it implies that some of it has been misused.” This is the latest incident faulting US officials for mismanagement of Iraqi funds. Press TV said last year the US military mismanaged $8.7 billion in funds allocated to Iraq, angering the country's officials who have raised the possibility of taking legal action against Washington. Several US military officials have been convicted of bribery, fraud and money-laundering over money allocated for reconstruction projects in Iraq
[course, war is a racket, that was the aim, start war then syphon war reconstruction funds...]
