Brazilian Media are welcome in Iran: IRNA chief http://www.irna.ir/ENNewsShow.aspx?NID=30294628&SRCH=1Presidential Advisor in Press Affairs and Managing Director of Islamic Republic News Agency Ali-Akbar Javanfekr said he welcomes presence of Brazilian media in Iran so that they can dispatch real and independent reports about developments in Iran. Javanfekr, who is visiting Brazil, was talking with Otavio Frias Filho, the owner of Folha de S. Paulo Press Corporation who expressed his desire to send a reporter to Tehran. Javanfekr, referring to the importance of Iran's developments, suggested that Folha establish its Middle East and Central Asia regional bureau in Tehran. He said direct coverage of Iran and Brazil news by local media of the two countries can thwart efforts by certain western countries to damage close relations between Tehran and Brasilia.
