Graham Watson, European Parliament member and the former leader of the Liberals have strongly backed Ergenekon and similar investigations to overthrow the deep state structures in Turkey.Speaking at the debate on European Parliament’s progress report on Turkey prepared by the Dutch Christian Democrat Ria Oomen-Ruijten, Watson said Turks have ousted “single party dictatorship in 1950” while drawing a parallelism between Arabs of today and Turks in 1950.
