IRI's total exports of industrial and mining goods have increased by 286pc during the country's Five-Year Fourth Development Plan (2006-2010), Deputy Minister of Industries and Mines, Ahmad Khadem al-Mellah said Tuesday."The figure increased to 64 billion dollars from 16.5 billion dollars in the Fourth Development Plan, showing an annual increase of 16 billion dollars during the period," he added.Khadem al-Mellah put the value of 125 industrial and mining projects underway in 26 other countries by Iranian experts at 3.5 billion dollars, adding that the investment was carried out despite the western pressures.

"The Ministry of Mines and Industries has drawn up a comprehensive plan to participate in the world markets in the next Iranian year starting March 21," he added.He said that his ministry had a very close cooperation with 55 countries around the world and run industrial centers in 35 states.
