Japan's foreign ministry in a statement lauded the Iranian nation and government for dispatching humanitarian aids to the quake-hit Japanese people.According to the statement, the first airplane carrying a cargo of canned fish and vegetables landed in Tokyo's Narita International Airport. Nearly 50,000 cans of food weighing over 18,000 kilograms are to be directly distributed among victims of the earthquake by the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS). IRCS has also expressed Iran's readiness to send more relief aid to Japan upon the request of Tokyo.
