Hawiye traditional elders accused Somali transitional federal government and African Union peacekeepers of closing down Mogadishu biggest and busiest market of Bakaara.Ahmed Diriye Ali, the spokesman of Hawiye traditional elders, said that Al shabaab fighters accepted to open all the roads linking to the market of Bakaara in an attempt to resume business activities after months of closure. Ali said that if Somali government and AMISOM refused their call of reopening the Bakaara, they will consider them as enemy.He said the Somali people in Mogadishu and regions adjoining it have a great need for the market as most of their property is in Bakaara.Last week, the spokesman of AMISOM forces, Brigye Bahoku, denied that they are the obstacle for the activities of Bakaara.
