Chemical engineering experts at Iran's Sharif University of Technology successfully managed to model separation of hydrogen from syngas mixture by employing network modeling techniques. "Modeling of nanoporous membranes via network modeling approach enables investigation of the target structures with any desired degree of precision and detail," Mohammad Moeini, a member of the research group, said. "The main objective of our research was to predict permeability and selectivity values by a theoretical fashion based on nanoporous structure of the membrane."
