The White House chided U.S. allies Yemen and Bahrain on Sunday for violence used by their governments against protesters and urged both to  exercise restraint. "We urge the governments of these countries to show restraint, and to respect the universal rights of their people," the White House said in a statement."

[they are ultimatly just client regimes,the us government has sold them weapons illegally,in violation of us laws,and has virtually created the problem by asking them to pursue a brutal crackdown on dissenters,in the name of the fake war on terror,more suitable to be renamed war OF terror...us not only sold them arms,but sends teams and experts to train their security forces on such techniques now being employed against demonstrators...
