Ham said it was important for the U.S. to turn control over to NATO because many of the troops involved in the Libya strikes are preparing to go to Iran or Afghanistan or have just recently returned from the warfront.

["...preparing to go to Iran...."?!?!?With three major military misadventures going catastrophically badly right now, the US is seriously thinking about invading Iran?!?!?Forgive me, but it appears that the US government has just lost semblance of sanity, for Ham to be making that remark.It also appears that none of the corporate news entities around had the guts to challenge Ham on this.
