Some comments on the Western-promoted Syrian disaster.
1. One supposes that the Syrian rebels are being supported with money and weapons by US-linked Saudi and Gulf state dictatorships and by the US with which Australia is intimately connected. Australia should discontinue its linkage to US state terrorism that has already cost the lives of 12 million Muslims from violence or war-imposed deprivation in the Zionist-backed US War on Muslims since 1990 (Google "Muslim Holocaust, Muslim Genocide"). 2. According to UNHCR Syria (population 20 million) "hosts one of the largest urban refugee and asylum seeker populations in the world" totalling about 1 million refugees from the US- and Australia-complicit Palestinian Genocide ( 2 million deaths from violence or deprivation since 1936, 7 million refugees) and Iraqi Genocide (4.6 million deaths from violence or deprivation since 1990, 5-6 million refugees). Geraldine's inexpert estimate of "several hundred thousand Iraqis killed" is way short of the mark (see the eminent Just Foreign Policy estimate of 1.5 million killed since 2003 based on the published data from top US medical epidemiologists from Columbia and Johns Hopkins). Now the US-backed terrorists are killing Iraqi refugees. 3. Read William Dalrymple's brilliant "From the Holy Mountain" that reveals Syria as a haven for Christians and religious tolerance in general in the Middle East, a tolerance that is being destroyed by the US and its anti-democracy Zionist and Gulf allies.
4. Imagine a Foreign Mining Company-backed WA secession that led to Federal forces attempting to re-assert control - one wonders what sort of Australians would follow the example of the Syrian rebels and urge Western military intervention and mass murder of their fellow citizens as has happened in Libya (population 6 million, 0.1 million killed, 1.3 million refugees, mostly Black Libyans).

The US Government itself was almost certainly complicit in the 9-11 atrocity (for numerous expert science, engineering, architecture, aviation, military and intelligence opinions to this effect Google "Experts: US did 9-11"). According to the "official version" of 9-11 from the mendacious Bush Administration that told 935 lies about Iraq between 9/11 and the illegal invasion of Iraq (Center for Public Integrity), no Afghans were involved in the 9-11 atrocity.Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. Eventually all those actively and passively involved in the post-1990 Muslim Holocaust and Muslim Genocide (twice the number of dead as in the WW2 Jewish Holocaust), from the planners, directors and killers to accessories after the fact and the media holocaust ignorers and genocide ignorers, will be publicly exposed for their part in this immense atrocity that violated the fundamental right to life of 12 million Muslims.
