West faces dilemma over Libya: Ex-UK MP GALLOWAY http://www.irna.ir/ENNewsShow.aspx?NID=30318340&SRCH=1
Britain, France and the US, leading efforts for regime change in Libya, face a dilemma due to the military stalemate in the country, says the founder of the UK's Respect Party, George Galloway. Galloway, who was expelled from former prime minister Tony Blair's Labour Party because of his outspoken opposition to the Iraq war, said that the conflict in Libya was heading for a stalemate because neither side is 'capable of militarily defeating the other.' 'The west is faced with a very serious dilemma,' he told IRNA in an interview on the sidelines of a meeting in London organised by Britain's biggest peace network, Stop the War Coalition (SWTC), where he is vice-president. 'They can no longer, now that NATO is in control of the no-fly zone, act as the air force of the rebels, because Turkey will not allow it neither will Germany,' he said. The former MP said that it was also a 'high-risk' strategy to pour weapons into the theatre of conflict in Libya because they would be 'arming people who they may later come to regret having armed.'
[With all due respect mr galloway, thats the plan, arm the rebels, then demonize them claim alqaeda somehow started pouring in,and boom they got a pretext to continue with ''WAR OF TERROR'' and MAINTAIN A MILITARY PRESENCE UDNER GUISE OF COMBATTING THIS THREAT!
