Arthur Shaw // If Bouterse thinks US imperialists won't try to snatch him again... http://www.vheadline.com/readnews.asp?id=101944

Bouterse himself noted in Havana that in July this year he will assume the presidency of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and in 2013 that of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR). Both international organizations, especially CARICOM  are major players in regional politics."I'm visiting countries in the region, with the purpose of exploring possibilities," Bouterse said while in Cuba.US imperialists have already ... but unsuccessfully ... tried (1) ... that is, an arrest by a third country and extradition to the Netherlands..

On Jan. 27, 2011, Guyana's President Bharrat Jagdeo said that he had rejected a request from a foreign mission that had asked him to arrest and extradite the Suriname president during an upcoming visit. Pres. Bharrat Jagdeo said that the foreign mission made the foul request the previous Monday, Jan. 24. 2011. "I said to him no, I said maybe you can get some other countries to do this," the Guyanese president stated. Guyana's president quickly alerted Bouterse about what the US imperialists were up to.

Bouterse is not today in a Dutch jail or an US concentration camp in Europe because of the exemplary integrity of Guyana's president and Bouterse's good luck. The US Ambasador John Nay provokes roaring laughter every time the imperialist ambassador denies that his embassy was the "foreign mission" that made the request to Bharrat Jagdeo.
