EFE news agency seeks to link Venezuela, Iran to warmongering plans http://www.abn.info.ve/node/59768

The Spanish news agency EFE spread a news cable over an alleged failed sale of helicopters to Iran and military material to Venezuela, in which it ambiguously pointed out that the two countries were involved in warmongering plans.EFE"s report was echoed by Venezuelan websites, indicating that Spanish police bodies prevented “the sale of nine attack helicopters to Iran and war material to Venezuela,

in an operation in which sellers were arrested -five Spanish entrepreneurs- and three Iranian citizens who had come to Spain to formalize the purchase.”A statement issued by the Directorate-General of the Police and the Civil Guard of Spain clearly reports that the two helicopters would be acquired by Iran and the military material by Venezuela.“The citizens under arrest also expected to sell pieces and spare parts of the attack aircraft to Venezuela,” reads the statement without informing about the identity of the five Spanish entrepreneur and the three Iranian arrested.

Nevertheless, media outlets such as EFE and Venezuelan websites reported that Venezuela would also purchase attack helicopters infringing this way the export banning stipulated by the United Nations, even when it is the United States which prohibits the sale of aeronautic spare parts to the South American country.A local website titled “Helicopter and war material being sold to Iran and Venezuela,” while another headed a link for a video as follows: “Spanish police prevents sale of helicopter and weapons to Iran and Venezuela.”

[EFE IS SERIOUSLY SICK,JUST TODAY I HEARD THEM MISREPORT ON SPANISH BARCELONA PROTESTS,CLAIMING PEACEFUL PROTESTORS ATTACKED POLICE,AND LEFT OUT PART WHERE RIOT POLICE ACTUALLY SHOT AND KILLED A PROTESTOR NOT TO MENTION INJURING DOZENS BY BEATING THEM..
