Iran reserves right to take action against PJAK inside Iraq: official http://www.mehrnews.com/en/newsdetail.aspx?NewsID=1357037

A high-ranking military official has said that Iran reserves the right to attack and destroy terrorist camps and bases belonging to the counter-revolutionary group PJAK (the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan) located in Iraq near the border with Iran.“We will not allow terrorists, who are supported by the United States and the Zionist regime, to be stationed in Iraq and carry out operations against the Iranian nation. We will take action against them,”

IRNA quoted an unnamed military official as saying on Monday. He also criticized the officials of Iraq’s Kurdistan for harboring PJAK terrorists. “The officials of Iraq’s Kurdish region, especially its chairman, have betrayed Iranian and Iraqi nations, and in collaboration with arrogant powers have provided the PJAK terrorist group with 300,000 hectares of Iraqi territory without the Iraqi government being informed,” he noted. “They have given this criminal group a free hand to extort money from Iraqi people and conduct terrorist operations against Iran,” he added. The PJAK group was established in 2003 in an effort to overthrow the Islamic establishment
