Members of the 18th Latin American and Caribbean Solidarity Brigade said the Cuban Revolution inspires other countries to achieve complete human development, and called for supporting the process underway to make it stronger. "We support the decisions made by the 6th Congress of the Cuban Communist Party, which will make it stronger in socio-economic terms and that of sustainable development," said Rita Fidelia Gomez, president of the Colombian group Corporation of Solidarity with Cuba.

Enrique Roman, first vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), bid farewell to the solidary contingent at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp.Roman said he was grateful for the valuable support from the Brigade to the fight to release the Cuban Five.The Latin American and Caribbean Solidarity Brigade is formed by representatives from 13 countries of the region, and Roman and highlighted its contribution to the struggle against the U.S. government's blockade against Cuba and the importance of cultural exchange between the peoples for the Latin American unity.
