Whenever and wherever there is a talk of human rights it has always meant that there is emphasis on a society without any racial, ethnic and religious discrimination. Thus, the US history is devoid of respect for human rights since there has always been a kind of discrimination. Some 150 years ago, the black people used to be killed for any small perceived mistake. The situation is more or less the same today.
