Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad criticized the US-led foreign troops' presence in the Middle East, and accused them of stirring up instability in the region. In an interview with the Iranian national TV channel on Tuesday, Iranian President stated, "We are against the presence of the US military forces in the region, and we believe that in order to avoid any encounter, the US forces should leave the region."Furthermore, he added that along with its neighbors, Iran was able to maintain security in the states located on the borders of the Persian Gulf.

Ahmadinejad criticized the UN and its current structure and performance, affirming that the body supposed to represent the whole world was dominated by a few countries. In this context, he stressed that the UN was primarily established to solve global problems; however this idea has not been realized or conducted by the global organization. On the level of the Iranian non-oil activity, President Ahmadinejad indicated in the interview, that his country's non-oil exports had hit $20,481 billion during the first half of the Iranian year, expecting they would reach around $45 billion by the end of the year.

In parallel, Ahmadinejad criticized Turkey on for agreeing to allow NATO to station an early warning radar in the southeast of the country.Stating that the radar system was meant to protect "Israel" against Iranian missile attacks in the event a war breaks out with "Israel", Ahmadinejad viewed that "the missile shield is aimed at defending the Zionist regime."In his address to the Iranian nation, Ahmadinejad stated that "they don't want to let our missiles land in the occupied territory if one day they take action against us. That's why they put it.""We told our Turkish friends that it was not a correct decision they did and that it's to their detriment," he said adding that "such shields can't prevent the collapse of the Zionist regime."
