ALBA (The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America) States move toward integration outside capitalist mechanisms http://www.avn.info.ve/contenido/alba-states-move-toward-integration-outside-capitalist-mechanisms  "It is a different mechanism of integration, which has not been discredited before people because it provides solutions and initiatives, fulfills them and is on the side of people (...) The natural result of capitalism is poverty and social exclusion, while ALBA raises and tries to pay that social debt left by capitalism," Zambrano said.Zambrano said the ALBA member states have been attacked in different opportunities. "Coup attempts (Venezuela, 2002), attempt to kill Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa (2010), effective coup against Manuel Zelaya in Honduras (2009), attempt to divide the Bolivian territory (2008) and a number of elements that prove that fighting for sovereignty and self-determination, as essential issues to ensure the welfare of our people and management of natural resources, causes aggressions."This integrative vocation will be solidified next December 2-3, Zambrano said, during the Summit of Latin American and Caribbean States, aimed at strengthening initiatives as the ALBA and the Union of South American Nations (Unasur)."The ALBA and its presidents are working on that possibility of being the voice of people who did not have it and I think they are fulfilling such goals," he said about the bloc made by Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Ecuador, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Antigua and Barbuda.
