INSANITY INDEED...Brazil and Colombia: An Unexpected Alliance http://www.cipamericas.org/archives/5633
“When they ask me, ‘What do you want to be when you’re big,’ I respond, ‘I want to be like Lula.’” The statement was not voiced by a progressive president of the region but by the most conservative of all: Juan Manuel Santos.
That’s how the President of Colombia opened the First Colombia-Brazil Investment Forum organized by the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) in Bogota, Columbia, on August 4th, in which the most noteworthy figure was Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The former president of Brazil didn’t disappoint. “It’s time that we thought of ourselves. Where’s our potential for growth? It’s between us,” he proclaimed in order to show that South America should stop looking towards the North.“We no longer need Bolivar’s sword, but rather credit and investment banks. We don’t need to be fearful of lending money to the poor because, aside from the fact that they pay, they also become consumers of what businesses produce,” Lula concluded, while highlighting the importance of policies that reduce poverty.[1]
[OK ITS OFFICIAL LULA IS SMOKING CRACK [joking of course, what hes really doing is promoting exactly what hes claiming not to and selling out again promoting neoliberalism] ..NOTICE WHERE HE CONTRADICTS HIMSELF ...
''South America should stop looking towards the North.“We no longer need Bolivar’s sword, but rather credit and investment banks.'' THEN HE PROMOTES ''Interamerican Development Bank (IDB)'' WICH IS A NORTHERN LENDING INSTITUTION,WICH ITSELF IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MASS FORCED DISPLACEMENT AND PROJECTS THAT CREATE MORE POVERTY... MORE ON THIS LENDING INSTITUTION...
