Tehran raps West, US for equipping dictators with WMDs  http://english.irib.ir/voj/news/top-stories/item/81130-tehran-raps-west-us-for-equipping-dictators-with-wmds  Iran's Envoy to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Kazzem Qaribabadi slammed the US and other western countries for possessing large stockpiles of Weapons of Mass Destruction, and blamed them for equipping the world dictators with WMDs. Qaribabadi said dictators were equipped with WMDs by "the US and its western allies", and added, "According to an official report by the OPCW, 15 countries, including the US and certain western states, have played a role in (former Iraqi dictator) Saddam's equipment with chemical weapons."Earlier, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili called on international circles to prepare the ground for the trial of those states which supply chemical weapons to the other states."The world community should ask for the trial of the US and 14 European countries for selling chemical weapons to Saddam" during the 8-year Iraqi imposed war against Iran (1980-1988), Jalili said in June 2010. Referring to Saddam's continued chemical attacks against Iran, Jalili said, "Based on official documents, the US and 14 European countries are the main culprits who equipped Saddam with chemical weapons."

"Iran is neither Syria nor Lebanon. Iran is a proud nation and they have missile capabilities - not nuclear-capable - that can rain down on Tel Aviv. I can tell you: if they are attacked - they would attack back. And (because) Israel is so vulnerable and so small that it (Israel) would retaliate with nukes - because they cannot suffer to be destroyed," Gravel predicted, adding that Pakistan and China would join in, with the US to follow - and that is a ready scenario for a nuclear WWIII. "The best way to solve the problem with Iran is to leave it alone to build a democracy of its own." 
Exhibition of Iran's N. Achievements Kicks Off in Tehran http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.php?nn=9007274609  The 17th Exhibition of Iran's achievement in nuclear industry started work at Shahid Baheshti University here in Tehran on Tuesday to display the country's latest nuclear achievements.Part of the Iranian nuclear industry's achievements in nuclear fuel production and enrichment, Bushehr nuclear power plant and Arak nuclear research reactor, nuclear agriculture, nuclear and radio medicine, nuclear fusion, optic, laser and nuclear materials are on display in the exhibition.

Iran in December unveiled five different radiomedicine projects with applications for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of a number of diseases. In September, Iran announced that it plans to synthesize 20 kinds of radiomedicine inside the country, stressing that its scientists are capable of supplying the 20%-enriched uranium needed for the production of such drugs. "Iran has gained the necessary preparedness to produce 20 radiomedicines and we will provide the 20% (enriched) fuel needed for the production of these medicines this year," Deputy Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) for Planning, International and Parliamentary Affairs Massoud Akhavan-Fard told FNA in September.
