IRANS OPPOSITION ADVOCATE US NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL INTERESTS  http://www.rajanews.com/detail.asp?id=110904 The behavior of Iranian pro-western media towards recent legislative election in Russia disclosed the realities behind their slogans against Russia and China as Washington's traditional rivals in street protests after 2009 presidential election. It showed that Iran’s opposition aimed to support US imperialism by shouting anti-China and anti-Russia slogans, without considering the national interest of its own country.
US, IRI opposition in line against Russia
Although, the results of recent legislative elections in Russia showed a big gap between the “United Russia” lead by the anti-western politician Vladimir Putin’ and the rivals but former CIA expert of velvet revolutions and current US Ambassador to Moscow John Beyrle, using western propaganda machine did his best to destabilize the country provoking unrests, claiming fraud in the election.
In the meantime, along with the face book and other western social networks, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a provocative speech against Moscow in Lithuania which hosted chairmanship of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, saying that “the Russian voters’ voice should be heard and their votes should be counted again.”She noted that”the Russian voters deserve a more free, transparent and responsible election.”In support of the US accusations against Moscow, a pro-western Iranian daily named “Shargh” in line with US secretary of state put this headline on its first page “Unrest in Moscow, Protest against Putin’s Fraud in Election” to prove that the Iranian pro-western opposition advocates Washington regional and international interests and ideals. This is just a piece of the comprehensive articles, columns, interviews, etc which published consonance with the psychological war of the West against the “United Russian” party leaded by Putin.Shouting anti-China and anti-Russia slogans in Iran, started for the first time after Iran’s 1979 revolution, when Iranian pro-western opposition leader Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani made a speech in support of Muslim minorities in China and  Russia in his last Friday prayer in Tehran after 2009 election. This was repeated later, on Quds Day (2009 September 17) when pro-western opposition shouted “No Gaza, No Lebanon, I die for Iran”; same slogans continued and in Aban 13(2009 November 4), protesters replaced the uncommon slogan of “Death to Russia” with the famous slogan of “Death to America”.American daily Christian Science Monitor in reaction to the anti-Russian slogans in Aban 13, wrote that when for years, US was called “Great Satan” by Iranians, Iranian opposition protesters shouted slogans against Washington international rivals angrily, for the first time after three decade.Of course, this American newspaper stressed that “since most Iranians still see US as Great Satan, then Washington should not expect that other international powers take the place of US as the first enemy in nostalgic mind of all Iranians.”
Independence, IRI foreign policy
“America is worse than Britain; Britain is worse than America. The Soviet Union is worse than both of them. They are all worse and more unclean than each other!” this quotation from IRI founder Imam Khomeini as well as “No East No West-Only Islamic Republic” slogan which has been the major demand of Iran’s 1979 popular revolution, show that Tehran’s unchangeable policy is to defend its national interests, unafraid of big powers.
Russians even after the dissolution of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) could not get a trustee friend for Iran as Moscow accompanied the West against IRI on four rounds of sanctions toward Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities, slowed the construction process of Bushehr nuclear power plant for several times and canceled a deal for selling S-300 missile system to Tehran.Of course, it should be noted that IRI opposition hostility towards Moscow does not refer to the above mentioned circumstances because they are critic of all these progressive programs.
CIA plan for velvet revolution in Russia
Since the result of the election showed a big gap between the “United Russia” and other parties in the election outcome, at first small population of opposition made some protest streets but with the call of twitter and face book and other western funded social networks, the unrest spread and the protesters could arrange large-scale demonstrations in Moscow with the participation of around 25000 people.
Same as the proposed failed pro-western 2009 Iran’s Green coup d'état, Orange Revolution in Ukraine and other CIA  velvet revolutions around the world, the failed Russian velvet revolution was also programmed months before the election and the opposition parties were instructed to use “white ribbon” as the symbol of their movement which named as “Snow Revolution”.Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) as one of the Russian election observers was the only foreign observer of the election which provoked unrest in this region by reporting comprehensive fraud in the election; protesters' call for street protest in the social networks was another factor which helped the spread of protests.Former Russian President and current Prime Minister Putin, in reaction to US official and non-official interfere in the election process said that “Washington is provoking unrests in the country, warning about violation of Russia sovereignty by outside financial and political investment in the election process.Legislative elections were held in Russia on 4 December 2011. At stake were the 450 seats in the State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly of Russia (the legislature). United Russia won the elections with a 49.32 percent share of votes (238 seats; 52.88 percent of Duma seats), down from 64.3 percent (70 percent of seats) in the 2007 elections. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 19.19 percent (92 seats), while A Just Russia received 13.24 percent (64 seats) and the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia got 11.67 percent (56 seats). Other parties did not cross the 7 percent election threshold, and the list of parties in the parliament did not change.United Russia lost the two-thirds constitutional majority it held prior to the election, but it still won an absolute majority of seats in the Duma although gaining less than 50 percent of the popular vote. The Communist Party, Liberal Democratic Party and A Just Russia all got a higher level of representation in the parliament compared to the previous 2007 elections.Elections received various assessments from abroad: positive from the Commonwealth of Independent States observers, mixed from the OSCE and critical from some EU representatives and the United States. Alleged reports of election fraud have led to major protests particularly in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
