Nobel Peace Laureate Adolfo Perez Esquivel warned today against the potential use by NATO of US military bases in Latin America. The Treaty of Washington claims that every NATO partner may use every military facility in the territory of each and every member country, meaning that such US facilities in Latin America are available to the bloc even without an insignia. That, indicated Argentinas Peace and Justice Service President, includes our Islas Malvinas (Falkland Islands) as a British military base.
Perez Esquivel made the warning at the opening session of the Intercontinental Conference "Paz, desarme y alternativas sociales ante la OTAN Global" (Peace, Disarmament and Alternative for Human Rights Organizations in Latin America, the US and Europe.Esquivel defined the forum as "important space to debate and devise strong responses to recover our sovereignty, our rights, our resources and future." Let us not forget that many peoples, threatened by the fears to liberty, end up accepting injustices and submitted to the will power of those they believed would guarantee their security, reminds the Nobel Laureate.
[ed notes;NATO isnt just attempting to infiltrate region over falkland islands and maldivas, but is already expanding into Colombia and Peru(both washington backed fascist states, and coincidentally the worlds top cocaine producers wink)see..
