Weaponized Keynesians
Angela Keaton, AntiWar.com, Jan 10 2013
A regular reader of Antiwar.com writes, “Professor Joe Salerno, academic vice president of the Ludwig von Mises Institute in a recorded talk from the institute’s 30th anniversary celebration, talks about the Keynesian architects of the US Warfare state. Salerno explains how Keynesian economics teaches that wasteful consumption of all kinds, including warfare, generates additional income which makes society wealthier. For this reason, academic and government Keynesian economists have recommended additional military spending to help the economy out of the current recession.” Listen to the podcast.
[ed notes:problem is it doesnt bring a nation of recession, only those with stock options in the weapons manufacturing enterprises benefits, meanwhile, the nations citizens who in kenya are extremely poor and destitute for most part, incurr the debt created by that very same  welfare military state ...the costs of maintaining and powering the military hardware, subtracts, and takes away more money then it puts in(in this case it doesnt put in anything in,it just takes away),..on ludwig von mises i should note they too all too often promote free market principles expouses by keynesian economists..especially libertarians, take ron paul jr for exmaple, just recently went to israhell said there should be a debate on us aid to israhel and scaled back..then goes to jordan and promotes with king the (security)military partnership, why?$$$$
