The Spectator magazine hosts this debate arguing for and against the statement: 'Assad is a war criminal, the west must intervene in Syria'. With the UN recently launching the largest humanitarian emergency appeal in its history, the expert panel will have a tough debate ahead of them. In support for intervention will be Sir Malcolm Rifkind (former Foreign Secretary), Dr Alan Mendoza (of the Henry Jackson Society) and Dr Wael Aleji (a member of the General Commission of the Syrian Revolution). http://syria.spectator.co.uk/ [ed notes:sponsored by? http://www.brewin.co.uk/ [ed notes:who are they a conglomerate of stockholders and different brokage firms specializing in large wealth investments including gold and mining industries!!
