Maduro calls to bring masterminds of April 15 violence to justice
Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro called Sunday on bringing to
justice the masterminds of violent events fostered by conservative
sectors in the country after refusing to admit election results on April
14."Masterminds who ordered to murder people on April 15 and 16 2013
shall be brought to justice, for the memory of the fallen," wrote the
President in his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro.Maduro emphasized the value of documentary "April, between anger and
peace," by Angel Palacios.Premiered last night in local television, it
gathered testimonies of witnesses and family of victims of the April
15-16 violence, which resulted in 11 murdered and a78 injured."It was a very convincing documentary. There's no doubt that only
justice can guarantee Peace. No more impunity. Those responsible must be
judged," Maduro wrote in the social network.Five months ago, conservative groups in Venezuela called on people to
express their anger on the streets due to adverse electoral results.
Some attacked citizens, public institutions and offices of socialist
party PSUV.
