Andean And Amazonian Organizations Announce Platform Of Struggle http://tiny.cc/vtnvN

In this regard, we call on all social sectors of the population to abide by peaceful mobilization throughout northern and eastern Peru, according to the following platform of struggle: 1 .- Total rejection of the report made by the central government on the events on June 5, 2009 at the Devil's Curve, accusing indigenous peoples, peasants and the church. 2 .- Accomplice condemn the attitude of the Attorney General, Dr. Gladys Ramos Echaiz in collusion with the government to hold harmless the real culprits of the events of June 5. 3 .- An end to the persecution of our leaders and racist attitudes against our indigenous brothers from the Peruvian Amazon; compensation to the relatives of victims of June 5, timely and adequate medical care to the wounded who are still dying in his bed of pain, cessation of interference by the mining companies continue to enter our territories without consultation, according to law. 

4 .- We demand the immediate return of our President of AIDESEP, Alberto Pizango Chota asylum in Nicaragua, wrongly accused of promoting the events of June 5, asking their legal status is varied and free from any pressure in order to cope all the malicious accusations by the government of Alan García Pérez. 5 .- Condemn discrimination and contempt with which we are treated from the highest levels of government because we still believe that third-class citizens, given the fool who wanted to form a commission to investigate what does not require much effort since the events of June 5 were and are visible throughout the world. 6 .- Immediate release of our brothers Kahuasa Rolin Feliciano, Dany Lopez Pujupat Wachapea Asterio Shawit and who have been unjustly charged for acts that did not commit. 

7 .- Stop the mining and oil concessions in the Cordillera El Condor, the Amazonian and highland areas in northern and eastern Peru, the same as those already given by 70%. 8 .- Respect for the laws of indigenous communities, peasant communities and rural patrols, respect for the provisions of ILO Convention 169. 9 .- Immediate withdrawal of the mining Buena Ventura, The Ditch Project, the province of Santa Cruz, Cajamarca, mining Majas, Zijin today, in Carmen de la Frontera, Huancabamba provinces and Ayabaca, Piura Region and the company Murelet, Prom Peru SA, Lot No. 116 granted in the area and province Dominguza Nieva, Amazonas. 

10 .- Respect for press freedom in all media and immediate freedom for the journalist Alexander Carrascal Carrasco, jailed for speaking the truth about the events of 5 June 2009. 11 .- Immediate reopening of Radio La Voz de Bagua Grande, unjustly suppressed by the current APRA government. 12 .- Removal of Ronald Ibarra, Secretary of Coordination of Social Conflicts of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, egged on the charge of indigenous leaders from the Peruvian Amazon. 13 .- Repeal of legislative decrees that are damaging and affecting peoples Amazonian, Andean and coastal environments. 14 .- Respect for the special jurisdiction of the rural patrols, which is being hampered by the government and the judiciary (high to prosecution). 

15 .- We reject the accounts given by the President of the Council of Ministers, Quesquén Velasquez, who wants to install a military base in Carmen de la Frontera, what we consider a provocation to the people and impose mining in that area. 16 .- We reject the attitude of the "commission of inquiry into the facts of Bagua" sent by the government because all offers have become politicized and is not complied with the true purposes for which such special committees were created. 17 .- It is enough to protect corrupt judges and prosecutors, government officials who collude with the major economic powers and corrupt and criminal mafias.
