Tel Aviv had cried ‘wolf’ at every major US military sale to Saudi ‘royals’ or the western puppet Sheikhs in the Gulf. For example Ronald Reagan’s sale of five AWACS radar planes in 1981 though they were to be managed by the Pentagon. However, last year when Obama administration announced the sale to Riyadh of 84 advanced F15 fighter jets for $20 billion – Israel showed its displeasure but did not use its Jewish Lobby muscles to kill the deal. 

The reason Benji Netanyahu was assured that the F15 will not be as sophisticated as F15s Israel is receiving free of cost. Furthermore, the Zionist regime was assured that the sale will boost Saudi military capability to counter the rising Iranian influence in the region which is viewed as a major strategic threat in Tel Aviv, Washington and Riyadh. Riyadh has proven its alliance with Israel and the US by fighting their proxy military wars in Yemen and Bahrain. Saudis are also funding the anti-government movements in Syria and Lebanon.
