It signals the end of the "Middle East", which would translate into the end of dependency on the "West". Of course, there are also many in Tehran who are delusional enough to assume that the Arab revolts are modeled after the Islamic revolution of 1979. Those Persian fantasies need to be ignored.Below the surface, however, there is anxiety too, especially among the right wing, which is subduing the demands of Iran's powerful civil society.
