IRANIAN MINISTER URGES NAM MEMBERS TO ESTABLISH JOINT ECONOMIC BODIES
Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari has proposed that the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states establish joint economic institutions to boost economic cooperation.
Ghazanfari said the economic issues play leading roles in the current global developments.Referring to the forthcoming 16th NAM Summit meeting here, slated for Aug 26-31, he said the movement with its 120 members can take effective steps towards improvement of the current global situation.He urged the NAM member states to increase their economic potentials in order to play a pivotal role in the international developments.He also underlined the need for consolidation of unity and solidarity among the NAM members.
