Arslan refuses separating Golan from Sweida
Head of the Democratic Party, MP Talal Arslan, categorically refused in a press conference held at his residence Sunday to disconnect Golan Heights in Syria from Sweida.Sweida is a mainly Druze city located in southwestern Syria, close to the border with Jordan."Sweida has not offered compromises to anyone," he contended."Everyone in Lebanon and Syria must unite and stand in face of western conspiracies targeting Syria and its independence."The MP found the only solution to be dialogue amongst the Syrian people in order to preserve "Syria's Arab identity."
