LEBANON WATCH - Army intercepts five men in possession of 'AlNusra Front' attire along Ersal Highway 
  Lebanese Army soldiers intercepted Sunday a white "Van" vehicle while on its way to Ersal outskirts carrying 5 passengers of Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian nationalities, who were found to be in possession of "Al-Nusra Front" uniforms, NNA correspondent in Baalbek reported. The 5 detained were heading in the direction of Syrian territories.

The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued Sunday the following statement: "As part of the task of maintaining security and stability, an army checkpoint in the region of Arsal stopped this morning a pickup truck loaded with a quantity of arms and ammunition, hand grenades and explosives with remote detonators, in addition to special outfits. A number of case-related arrests were also made.Detainees were handed over to competent authorities, and an investigation was launched."
