SHOOTOUT WITH AK 47 IN PARLIAMENT IN JORDAN
On Tuesday, a Jordanian lawmaker apparently chased
a fellow deputy through the halls of parliament, firing at him with an
automatic rifle before being overpowered, according to the Associated Press. No injuries were reported in the incident in which Member of Parliament Talal Al Sharif fired an AK-47 at fellow deputy Qusai al-Dmeisi outside
the main hall of parliament “after a political dispute over a budget
matter.”
[ed notes;budget matter huh?hmmm if its money problems maybe the queen can solve it,and demand these parliament figures ,eat falafels!!!Maybe that will help lol http://thenakedfacts.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-latest-western-imposedjordanian.html
Al Sharif and al-Dmeisi are both “prominent members of the
traditional Bedouin tribes with no particular ideological agenda.”King Abdullah II issued a royal palace statement instructing parliament speaker Saad Hayel Srour to transfer Sharif to police custody after lifting his immunity. Amman prosecutor Abdullah Abol-Ghanam
charged Sharif with attempted murder, possession of a firearm without a
license, resisting police arrest and disturbing public order, according
to an official in his office who could not be named because it was an
ongoing case. Although this was the first time a firearm was discharged
in the parliament, violence has frequently caused sessions of parliament
to be suspended. Just last week, the target of Mr. Sharif’s attack, Qusai al-Dmeisi, was involved in a brawl when he tried to attack Member of Parliament Yihya Saud to prevent Saud from criticizing Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.
