Economic and finance ministers of the South American Union of Nations (UNASUR) bloc are meeting here to find ways to increase the capacity of regional central banks to defend themselves from speculative attacks against their currencies.The meeting was convened by the Economic and Finance ministers of Argentina, Amado Boudou and Brazil, Guido Mantega and will also deal with "de-dollarisation of inter-regional commercial exchange", sources from the Argentine Economy and Finance Ministry said.The meeting's agenda will focus on four key points, including an analysis of the world economy and the achievements attained by the working groups created in mid Aug here when the UNASUR Economic Council was officially established.The participants will also examine the position of the 12-member UNASUR member countries with regard to the next presidential summit of the Group of 20 next month in Cannes, France.In their previous meeting, the UNASUR economic and finance ministers agreed to implement a six-point Action Plan to protect the region from the international crisis affecting Europe and the United States, source said.
