Chapters are even more, Mr. Latell http://alainet.org/active/37536&lang=es

"The Latell Report" is a digital bulletin published monthly, by Mr. Brian Latell, former CIA official who self titled "distinguished analyst on Cuba “. For several years he has served as National Intelligence Officer for Latin America in the Office of the Director of Central Intelligence of the United States. During his time as National Intelligence Officer, which began in the early 90s of the last century, Latell was in charge of preparing the Annual Intelligence Estimate on Cuba.

In that document, Mr Brian Latell, year by year, predicted that the Cuban Revolution would cease to exist that year, as well as irrefutably argued for, with the "information" received from the various agencies that works against Cuba in the Intelligence Community of the United States That was what the "distinguished analyst of Cuba", as he explains in the presentation of his "Report," used to advised various U.S. presidents and of other nations, cabinet members and legislators. Now I understand why Mr. Latell ceased to be National Intelligence Officer. All these people came to the conclusion that they could not trust his estimates. .

Another interesting aspect in the introduction of "The Latell Report" is when he specifies that "is a publication of ICCAS (Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies of the University of Miami), in which no funds supplied by the government have been used "and that the opinions expressed are those of the author and do not reflect" the views of ICCAS and / or the Agency for International Development of the United States, USAID. "

It seems that the "distinguished analyst on Cuba" miss a detail. It is well to clarify about ICCAS, but what is the reason to clarify about USAID. This does not withstand the most elementary "analysis." Even a young analyst, who is starting his career, called the attention of this "unnecessary" reference if is not the USAID, with funds from the CIA, who finance the "Report". After these clarifications, which helps the reader about who is Brian Latell and who pays for what he writes
