Maduro calls to bring masterminds of April 15 violence to justice

 ALBA's humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees arrived in Lebanon
An airplane of the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America (ALBA) carrying over 6.5 tons of food, medicines, water and blankets for Syrian refugees arrived Monday in Beirut, Lebanon, reported Telesur television network. The Political Council of the regional bloc decided to send humanitarian aid to Syrian citizens refuged in Beirut after a meeting held last Saturday in Caracas. About two million Syrian citizens have moved to Lebanese territory due to the situation in their country, which has been threatened of bombing by the United States and its allies. The aircraft of the Venezuelan air force arrived in Lebanon at 13:14 hours (GMT), coming from Greece as its last stopover before reaching its destination. Telesur special correspondent Madelein Garcia informed in her Twitter profile @madeleintlSUR: "We just reached the airport in Beirut, Lebanon. Mission accomplished." In other messages posted in the social network, she reported: "The crew was welcomed excitedly and with applauses by ALBA countries ambassadors and representatives #ALBAforSyria." Also, she wrote: "In this moment the humanitarian cargo is being unloaded and it was enthusiastically applauded by Lebanese people." While the airplane was being loaded in Venezuela last Wednesday, foreign minister Elias Jaua said that it was a gesture of peace and solidarity on behalf of sister nations that appeal to those who have the power to prevent a war. VENEZUELA REJECTS WORLD BANK RULING ON EXPROPRIATION OF U.S OIL COMPANY 
Venezuelan Oil and Mining Minister Rafael Ramirez rejected a World Bank ruling against the Venezuelan government's expropriation of U.S. oil company Conoco Phillips in 2007. The ruling was made earlier Wednesday and handed down by the World Bank's arbitration court, the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Ramirez, who is also president of Venezuela's state oil firm PDVSA, said Venezuela will appeal the decision. "This weekend, our lawyers are going to request a new hearing... We are not going to accept in any circumstances that something that was already signed and for which a mechanism of compensation was established be now skipped," Ramirez told a press conference. "Now we'll see if the tribunal respects what was signed between PDVSA and Conoco at that time. If there was to be any kind of indemnity, it had to be capped at US$27 per barrel," he added. The minister also said the ruling means Conoco will not get US$10 billion from the Venezuelan government as compensation under an investment protection law. Ramirez said new oil contracts will not be subject to foreign arbitration as Venezuela is a sovereign country with its own laws. Venezuela Watch- Captured two Colombian citizens involved in assassination attempts against President Maduro 
The Minister for the Interior, Justice and Peace, Miguel Rodriguez Torres, reported Monday that two Colombian citizens involved in assassination attempts against President Nicolas Maduro were captured.At a press conference, broadcast by state media, Rodriguez Torres said that after the investigations conducted by the security forces of the Venezuelan state, last August 15, two subjects who formed a destabilizing group were captured. Such group consists of 10 individuals: Victor Johan Gueche Mosquera, 22 years old, and Erick Leonardo Huertas Rios, 18, who entered the country on August 13 through San Antonio del Tachira. "We found their location on August 15 and captured them in the hotel Guaracarumbo, on the Pan American Highway, which travels through the state of Aragua and Miranda to get to Caracas," he said. He explained that the capture of these two citizens was informed 11 days after "due to the seriousness of the information and the process" of research and intelligence carried out by the state security agencies. The Minister added that two rifles equipped with laser sights, along with a photo of President Nicolas Maduro, with President of the National Assembly Diosdado Cabello were seized in the operation. "In their bags they also had 10 Venezuelan Army military uniforms in full regalia." Rodriguez Torres said the two young men were led by Alejandro Caicedo Alfonso (aka David) from the Colombian municipality of Soacha, near Bogota. "David is the link, in jail, with Oscar Alcantara Gonzalez (aka Gancho Mosco), who is being held in Colombia since March 2013 and convicted of using minors to commit crimes, including murder, conspiracy and trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs," he said. The senior officer also said that Gancho Mosco "is constantly visited by David, who is receiving instructions directly from him (Gancho Mosco) in jail and carries them out by means available". "David was on the trip from Bogota to Cucuta with these two young men who came to Venezuela," said Rodriguez, who added that the Colombian authorities were provided with all information processed by security and investigative forces of Venezuela on the case.

"We saw some lights in Venezuela before the elections, such as rallies and protests, but they did not reach the target." The local extreme right, Rodriguez Torres said, is made by those who took part on an oil sabotage in Venezuela in 2003, violent actions at Altamira square in Caracas, riots and the assassination of attorney Danilo Anderson, as well as those who contracted paramilitary soldiers in 2004 to murder Hugo Chavez. A second meeting would had been held on April 29 to plan subversive actions from Colombia. "We have to watch for the security of our people and the president of the Republic," Rodriguez Torres affirmed. Colombia: A Stepping Stone for U.S. Operations against Venezuela

The arrests of Colombian paramilitares on the territory of Venezuela are not seen as anything sensational. There are more and more cases like that. And nobody asks why the fighters are methodically infiltrating the country, cleverly disguised as seasonal workers or tourists. They are being used by the enemies of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela as part of a wide-reaching conspiracy, coordinated by U.S. and NATO intelligence agencies, to overthrow the lawfully elected authorities. Earlier the paramilitares fought in the ranks of the AUC (Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia, the United Self Defense Forces of Colombia), created by Colombian military intelligence to combat the leftist-Marxist partisan groups FARC and ELN. The formal «disarmament» of the AUC in Colombia did not lead to their full demobilization. Now they are used to fight against «populist» regimes. A significant number of the subdivisions of the AUC were «redirected» by the CIA field station and advisors of the U.S. military mission to specific assignments for destabilizing Venezuela. In June alone in the states of Tachira and Portuguesa, two groups of paramilitares whose leaders were well known in Colombia for their bloody exploits were captured. An active search for a third group operating in Caracas is underway. Information about other armed cells of the AUC operating in the country has been coming in. In recent years the CIA and U.S. military intelligence field stations in Colombia have been implementing measures to reinforce «centrifugal tendencies» in the state, spur on conflicts between the local elite and the central authorities, and promote the idea that the «Republic of Zulia» would have a higher standard of living as an independent state among the «masses». The sabotage in Zulia has really become quite alarming. President Maduro has met several times recently with the state's governor, Francisco Arias, to discuss measures to stop the smuggling of gasoline and food products and establish uninterrupted energy delivery, which is extremely important for the hottest region of the country.
