Supreme Court sides with Enron CEO appeal http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/business/7077853.html
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled today that some of the charges against former Enron CEO Jeffrey Skilling may not have been covered by a law used to prosecute him. The high court left it up to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to determine whether this was harmless error since Skilling was simultaneously accused under other laws. That means some, but likely not all, of his charges could be to retried or dismissed.
