The Zionist regime and its hirelings inside Iran have clearly had a hand in the Monday afternoon frenzy in Tehran, an Iranian legislator underlined on Wednesday. Some hundreds of people staged riots in western Tehran on Monday afternoon. Leaders of the move had earlier alleged that they intended to hold a rally in support of the Tunisian and Egyptian uprisings, but protestors did not chant any slogan in support of the Tunisians or Egyptians.Rioters opened fire at the passers-by and killed at least one university student and wounded 9 more.
A few days earlier on Friday, millions of people had staged nationwide rallies in support of the Tunisian and Egyptian uprisings. The lawmakers asked the sedition masterminds why they had not joined millions of Iranians in countrywide rallies on Friday and why they did not chant any slogan in support of the regional people in their so-called demonstrations which actually turned out to be a premeditated riot.
"Mr. Karroubi and Mr. Mousavi should be asked if the presence of tens of millions of Muslim Iranians in the February 11 rallies in support of the revolutionary people in Egypt and Tunisia was so insufficient that they were obliged to arrange a rally of a few hundreds to show their support for these nations, or they were really seeking an excuse through such demonstrations to pave the way for the plots and intrigues of such anti-revolutionaries as the MKO (the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization) and the monarchists and their hirelings," the parliament members asked in their statement.
