HUMAN RIGHTS Video: Children in Nabi Saleh stand up to Israeli military

The video is of a Palestinian child chasing the occupation forces after they arrested her brother Waed al-Tamimi in the village of Nabi Saleh. Some of the others are children of the prisoner Bassem Al Tamimi and the recently released prisoner Nariman Al Tamimi. The occupying forces also arrested journalists, five internationals. The Israeli media (Ynet) headlined this incident as, Palestinian girl tries to goad soldiers into lashing out and describes the incident as:"Video documents 10-year-old cursing, spitting at soldiers in attempt to provoke violent reaction – that never comes. Sending children to provoke soldiers: A video shot at a protest rally held in the village of Nabi Salih, in the central West Bank on Friday, captured an uncanny moment, showing how Palestinian protesters use children to needle IDF soldiers in hope of provoking a violent response. [The video "shows a group of children, led by a Palestinian girl of about 10, yelling and cursing the soldiers for a few long minutes in a clear attempt to provoke a response."
But witnesses of the incident reported, the "girl did not provoke the soldiers to act before the cameras as some claim. Israelis arrested her 15 year old brother and she came demanding them to release him." The second video shows the same girl chasing after the Israeli soldiers to rescue her brother

In the article that follows, Ruth Pollard, writing for The Age (AU) reports,Israeli soldiers expose plight of Palestinian children with a video that has been censored from Google's YouTube. The video of the testimony of former Israeli soldiers is one that we think everyone should watch. The brutality of Israeli soldiers parallels that of US and NATO soldiers and mercenaries in the lands they occupy today. It seems that humanity as a whole is capable of unconscionable hatred on the one hand and unbounded love and compassion on the other
