The Lebanese Army intelligence apparatus revealed on Thursday an "Israeli" listening device in the Lebanese southern village of Chakra, governorate of Bent Jbeil.Upon transferring the device to one of the Lebanese Army headquarters, the army found out that the device does not only record and broadcast data, but can also shoot photos and videos.

The device was dropped via a parachute, constituting of an electronic circuit attached to a battery (the size of a solar-system motorcycle battery), which is used to directly transfer images and voice recordings. Army intelligence sources said the device most probably does not contain any data-memory storage, because apparently it was not designed to restore data, but only to transfer data through the reconnaissance planes that conduct regular flights above the area.
