The British government has announced its commitment to continue development aid and to increase economic assistance for Yemen.This came about in a meeting here Monday between Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi and a delegation of the British Department for International Development. Al-Arhabi discussed with the delegation details on the British aid to support the government's efforts to combat poverty, improve the good governance system and to assist in financing the Household Budget Survey in addition to the aid presented to the Social Fund for Development's projects. The two sides also reviewed a number of issues pertaining to enhancing bilateral cooperation
