CARICOM Summit Condemns NATO Neo-Colonial Aggression Against Libya http://www.mathaba.net/news/?x=627467

The heads of state and governments of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) condemned the NATO white racist aggression against Libya and called for an immediate halt to this aggression. In their second summit which was held in St Kitts from 1-4 July, the important grouping of Caribbean governments voiced their support of the African Union initiative, and expressed their rejection of the violation by NATO of UN Security Council resolution by targeting civilians and residential areas.The Chairman of the organisation, the Prime Minister of St Kitts said the group understood the roots of the plot being hatched against Libya because of its pro-Africa policies and its oil potential.

He renewed his country's support and solidarity with the Libyan people in the face of this aggression, and also his support of the African Union initiative. The Prime Minister of the Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, voiced his condemnation of the NATO aggression against Free Libya and expressed the full solidarity of the people of Dominica with the Libyan people and their Leader Muammar Gaddafi.

"We are ready to offer all assistance which you need to support the Libyan people... and I myself am proud of the relationship I have with the Leader Muammar Gaddafi, he said. He also expressed his support to the African initiative.The Secretary General of the International People's Conference Organisation praised the initiative and statements of the Caribbean Community CARICOM and warned that the world is becoming divided along racial lines, as only white countries are on the wrong side regarding Libya.
