A commemoration was held for the second martyrdom anniversary of an Egyptian female martyr by attendance of politicians, employees of the Ministry of Justice, and Muslim participators in front of the court that she was martyred. During this event, some white roses were put on the place that she had been martyred as a sign of respect. On 1 July 2009, Marwa Sherbini, an Egyptian woman and German resident, was killed during an appeal hearing at a court of law in Dresden, Germany.Yorgen Martin, the high ranking official of Ministry of Justice in Dresden located in Germany pointed out to the second martyrdom anniversary of Marwa Sherbini, the Egyptian martyr who was pregnant at the time and he said:

“The death of this young mother made all of us to mourn.”He said: “The main reason that this horrible event took place was that she was seeking for equal rights.”This Germany minister emphasized: “If we don’t accept the beliefs of other religions, so there will be no justice in our country anymore.”In this statement was mentioned: “The lack of Egyptians presence in the 2nd martyrdom anniversary of Marwa Sherbini will have a negative effect on the procedure of tracking this case. Germany claims that this case has been closed and that we will receive all the rights of Marwa Sherbini.

”The family of Sherbini stated: “The lawyers of the case Marwa Sherbini will go to the international criminal court of Europe and the friends and family of Marwa Sherbini emphasize that the agents of this crime must be punished. We want the German government to official apologize for this event, because until now they have not paid attention to the family of Marwa Sherbini regarding honoring the freedom and dignity of all the Muslims in Europe.”The family of Marwa Sherbini expressed their anger for neglecting the realities and the lack of accurate implementation of justice.Marwa Sherbini was killed in front of her husband in a German court in 2009 by a German-Russian immigrant.
