A group of Turkish aviation cadets will visit Israel as part of an annual international student exchange program, despite strained relations between Turkish People and Zionist Occupation Israel.Twenty-six Turkish students will be in Zionist Israel from July 19 to August 3 as part of the International Air Cadet Exchange Association (IACEA), designed to promote cooperation among the world’s civilian auxiliary aviation programs, Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported.
During the exchange, the cadets will communicate directly with the Israeli society and will be provided housing by volunteer families in Hasharon region. Aviation cadets from the United States, Britain, Germany, France and the Netherlands will also travel to Israel to participate in the annual program. The first such program took place in 1947 between Britain and Canada while countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Turkey and the US hosted similar programs in the past.
