17 NGO'S ''SOME FOREIGN FUNDED'', OTHERS ''PRO MONARCHY'',OTHERS ''BASED IN ISRAHELL'' ,OTHERS ''PRO IMPERIALISM'' SYNCHRONIZE ATTACK AGAINST IRANIAN GOV ,FOLLOWING CFR AGENDA AND GOALS ...Seventeen human rights and student organizations have called for Iran to uphold the right to education, expressing “deep concern for the alarming state of academic freedom” in the country. A joint statement released by the NGOs was critical of violations of the rights to freedom of expression, association, and assembly on campuses and institutionalized procedures that allow authorities arbitrarily to expel and suspend students on the basis of their political views. Over six hundred students, as well as some university lecturers, have been arrested since 2009 as a result of their political activities.
According to Media Transparency in 2003 ABF received a $150,000 grant from the Smith Richardson Foundation for a project entitled: Iran's Transition to Democracy.
