The Indigenous Peoples of Colombia, our authorities, organizations and indigenous leaders represented at the First National Indigenous Health Assembly, convened by the ONIC, AICO, CIT and OPIAC, pursuant to the Laws of Origin, the Mayor and the law its own right, in full exercise of self-determination of Peoples, calling our government to exercise independent exercise of their own, seeking to protect life, land, ancestral knowledge, promoting the strengthening of the self, and seeking the unity of peoples, and  

Indigenous Peoples of Colombia have been subjected to extinction and extermination by the Colombian state and external actors such as recognizes and determines the Constitutional Court, the United Nations Rapporteur on Indigenous Issues and the national indigenous movement. 2. That indigenous peoples have been systematically being subjected to processes of exclusion, discrimination and cultural imposition and just recently our struggles have been stigmatized, persecuted and accused. 

3. The social state of law and ethnic and cultural pluralism has been systematically being dismantled, favoring private interests and commercial deterioration in the rights of the vast majority of Colombian society and fundamentally of Indigenous Peoples. 4. That the development model that is implemented in Colombia destroys Mother Earth and honors and neoliberal capitalist interests of multinationals who are dealers our territories.
