Armed forces of Syria crush FSA terrorists in al-Treimseh
http://moderntokyotimes.com/2012/07/14/armed-forces-of-syria-crush-fsa-terrorists-after-al-treimseh-overran/According to reports within Syria the village of al-Treimseh (Tremseh) was overran by the Free Syrian army (FSA) terrorists who installed fear into the local community. After this happened the armed forces of Syria had no option but to launch a counter-offensive after local residents called for help. It would appear that the counter-offensive by the Syrian army was well coordinated and once more it highlights the reality that terrorists desire to fight in built up areas in the knowledge that civilians will be killed. The cache of weapons captured by the military of Syria also implies that the military authorities involved in crushing terrorists in al-Treimseh had planned the assault with tight precision. This also applies to well-informed advice by local villagers who gave valuable information to the armed forces of Syria. It is therefore clear that local residents were distraught by recent events and asked the military for help. The request for help was badly needed after terrorists began to kill and do other criminal acts against the local community in al-Treimseh.
It is interesting to note that after all the usual statements given by the BBC against the government of Syria, that a contradictory statement was allowed. This applies to the statement by Jaafar because the BBC reports that“Jaafar, an activist with the opposition Sham News Network(SNN), also told the AFP news agency most of those killed had been FSA fighters.”
“At this stage, though we do not yet have the final count, the number of civilians killed by shelling is not more than seven.”This account would correspond more closely with the statements made by the armed forces of Syria and media outlets within the country. Also, the military counter-offensive would imply that the FSA terrorists had been outfoxed. After all, the counter offensive by the Syrian armed forces was extremely swift and highlights the fact of high morale. In saying this, it is still clear that the armed forces of Syria can’t mop up entirely because the military desire to protect civilians who have been kidnapped by FSA terrorists.
Weapons captured according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) include “45 machineguns, 13 Nato sniper rifles, 9 RPG launchers, 7 BKC machineguns, 3 mortars, 3 hand-made rockets, 14 pump-action rifles, 10 military pistols, 24 mortar shells, 32 RPG shells, 53 machinegun chargers, 30 sniper rifle chargers, 8 explosive devices, 10 grenades, 150 detonators, 1500 sniper rifle bullets, 5000 BKC machinegun bullets, 4200 machinegun bullets, 500 pistol bullets, 7 gas masks, 5 prism binoculars, 25 satellite wireless devices, 30 shields, in addition to materials for making explosive devices, explosives and large amounts of gunpowder, TNT templates, highly explosive C4 material, a field hospital and an amount of military equipment, stolen cars and registration licenses.”An eyewitness named Abo Arif al-Khalid made it clear that villagers had lived a nightmare when terrorists overran al-Treimseh.
Abo Arif al-Khalid stated that ”Had the Army or security personnel existed in the village, the terrorists wouldn’t have been able to overrun the village and perpetrate their massacres.” This information was relayed on Syrian television and by SANA which collected this information at the scene of the FSA terrorist attack again innocent civilians. The timing of the attack resembles similar events in Syria prior to the United Nations holding an important political session about this country. Condemnations by the usual players against the government of Syria were stated immediately despite very little initial information. This factor is also a re-run of past events and clearly this is even raising eyebrows within Western media agencies which are opposed to the government of Syria.
Once more it is clear that FSA terrorists have no qualms in entering villages, towns and cities – and then launching attacks against local people and the Syrian armed forces. It is therefore abundantly clear that FSA terrorists are using the “cover of civilians” in order to spread their powerbase and in the full knowledge that the armed forces of Syria need to respond to such provocation. It is clear that the military counter-attack by the Syrian armed forces was well planned and coordinated. This may lead to the view that a new reinvigoration of the Syria armed forces is taking place. Or it may hint to the knowledge that powerful terrorist ratlines were known to have been in al-Treimseh after local people gave important information to the armed forces of Syria. At the moment this is still “speculation” but the speed of the counter-offensive points to valuable counter-terrorist planning.
Dead bodies of ordinary civilians were found and according to SANA these individuals had been killed by terrorists who merely used local people to be a cover for their FSA terrorist agenda. Similarly, the behavior of some leading politicians and media agencies in inciting hatred towards Syria must be questioned. After all, the usual condemnation could be heard long before the most basic of facts were known. This is not only unprofessional but it is also inciting hatred towards the government of Syria
