The Tbilisi Helsinki Group has been established in Georgia. It will examine the cases of political prisoners.
The Tbilisi Helsinki Group was founded on the basis of the Commission on Human Rights, created on the initiative of chairman of the opposition party 'Free Georgia', Kakha Kukava in 2007, the group head Katie Bekauri said at a press conference today.This party closely works with Russian businessman Alexander Ebralidze.The rights of political prisoners will be protected by human rights activists and independent lawyers.
