Syria accuses Turkey of plundering factories in Aleppo
The Syrian Foreign Ministry accused in a letter to the United Nations Ankara of plundering 1,000 factories in Aleppo and transferring all the equipment to Turkish territories. Syria saw this illegal Turkish action as an act of piracy which targets the Syrian economy. It added that these unethical practices violate neighborhood principles and expose again the Turkish ambitions and the destructive role that Turkey is playing in the Syrian crisis. The Ministry demanded a clear condemnation for these sabotage and terrorist acts and taking the needed measures to hold Turkey and the countries that support such actions accountable for their behavior.
Syria stressed that Turkey is contributing to escalation of the living situation and the humane suffering of the Syrian people. The Ministry also called for legal measures against the Turkish government to force it to return these possessions to their owners and pay all compensations in accordance with international laws.
