A senior Jordanian lawyer said the Islamic Revolution of Iran has motivated the current Middle East uprisings.Anis Fowzi Qasem, chairmain of Jordanian law assistance association was speaking to Qudsna on the sidelines of the 22ndf anniversary of the demise of the late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini.Qasem said the Islamic Revolution multiplied the moral of the Palestinians. He said the current uprisings in Yemen, Libya, Jordan and Egypt were similar to the Islamic Revolution of Iranian people against the then dictatorial regime.
"Imam Khomeini directed the uprisings until it got triumphed," he added.The lawyer also linked the expulsion of Zionist regime from southern Lebanon to the motivations of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. "Israel could not occupy Lebanon due to presence of Hezbollah. In Tunisia and Egypt too the government could not stand against the will of the people," he said.Qasem said Iran had turned into a regional power, adding that Iran's technology and power was indeed at the service of the regional resistance and other anti-imperialist movements.
