Waed Society for Prisoners said that it agreed with the Egypt based Palestine Studies Center and the Egyptian revolution youth to seek a prisoner exchange with Israel through the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which was handed power after the Egyptian revolution.The groups are pushing for the release of all Egyptians held in Israeli custody, as well as all Palestinian women and children and those who have fallen ill and those who have been dealt lengthy prison sentences, in exchange for former Israeli soldier Ilan Grapel, who was arrested last week for spying and trying to recruit Egyptian youths to act against authorities after the Hosni Mubarak ouster.
